As expected, Shaquille O'Neal, aka Big Daddy, took the stage at last night's Game Awards to officially reveal Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn — "an infamous icon of 16-bit gaming reimagined for a new generation."
The premiere trailer shows off the intense, sice-scrolling, beat 'em up gameplay that mixes one of the sports world's biggest personalities with unique martial arts in an adventure inspired by the tongue-in-cheek fun and humor of the original game. Hopefully without the bugs this time around.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn was made possible through crowdfunding on Indiegogo, and will be developed by Big Deez Productions. It's set to launch digitally on consoles and PC next year.
