Here’s the Xbox One news from the Microsoft Event

Microsoft held an event today to talk about how technology can support creativity with new accessories and Windows 10. The entire event wasn't solely focused on programs or accessories that could be used creatively, though, Microsoft also mentioned a couple things heading to the Xbox One via the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update.

When the Windows 10 Creators Update releases in 2017 it will be bringing new features to the Xbox One and Windows 10 (as well as tablets and phones).

Built-in game broadcasting via Beam

The Windows 10 Creators Update will come with 'Beam' integrated into the system which will allow gamers to livestream their games without delay on Windows 10 and the Xbox One.

Arena on Xbox Live

The Xbox Arena feature will allow gamers to create custom gaming tournament. The feature is already in testing in the Preview Program.

Dolby Atmos

Bitstream audio pass-through support for Blu-Ray is heading to the Xbox One with Dolby Atmos.
