Details on how the Wolf Link amiibo will function in The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess HD were revealed last week through Amazon France. This particular amiibo will unlock a dungeon called "The Twilight Cave" in Twilight Princess HD.
The Wolf Link amiibo will not be the only amiibo available for Twilight Princess HD, nor will it be the only amiibo to feature in-game bonuses. According to this week’s Famitsu, Link, Zelda and Ganondorf will all have their own functions.
Japanese site Hokano (via Nintendo Everything) detailed the Famitsu article, revealing each ability that the amiibo will have and that the amiibo can only be scanned once every 24 hours:
