As you're probably aware, Bungie announced today that Destiny's next expansion, House of Wolves, will release on May 19. With that news comes a slew of information vaguely detailing the contents of the upcoming expansion.
As expected, House of Wolves will introduce "a wealth" of new weapons, armor, and gear to earn in story missions and multiplayer. There will be three new competitive multiplayer maps and a new cooperative Strike.
Surprisingly, there was no mention of another Raid, but Bungie did mention a new competitive elimination mode in the Crucible. There's also a new "arena activity" named The Prison of Elders.
While details are vague right now, Bungie promises to reveal more information int he coming weeks. It looks like they have specific dates in mind for new information to arrive, starting on Wednesday, April 22.
