This exciting news will come with a cost though, more specifically in hard drive space. The download will require 8 GB of free storage on Xbox One and PS4, however, the PC version will be a slightly larger download of 11 GB.
For those looking to play the beta, we believe that there will be three available game modes at your disposal. The first will be small solo mission on the planet of Tatooine, the second mode will be playable within the volcanic environment of Sullust, and lastly there will be a chance to relive the iconic battle of both the Rebels and the Empire in the icy conditions of Hoth.
The beta might go live today, however the final version of EA's upcoming Battlefront title is set to be released this November.
