Here’s when you can pre-load Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS3

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation 3 owners will be able to pre-load Call of Duty: Ghosts on November 3rd, about two days before the actual launch of Activision's highly anticipated shooter.

Those of you who have pre-ordered the game on the PlayStation Store will be able to digitally download and install the game any time after 3:00pm PT on Sunday, November 3rd. Doing so will allow you to play as soon as the game is released at 12:01am PST on November 5th.

During launch weekend (Nov. 8 to Nov. 11), Activision is hosting a Double XP event, meaning you'll earn twice as much XP on all of your multiplayer accomplishments.

Remember, the progress (stats, unlocks, etc.) you make on PS3 will carry over to the PS4 version. Furthermore, you'll be able to upgrade from the PS3 to the PS4 version for just $9.99. Here's how the upgrade plan works.
