Due for release in just over a month, Sega has released the opening movie for Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax. It is a 2D fighting game featuring an all-star cast of popular characters from Dengeki Bunko novels set against Sega-themed worlds. It's almost like a Kingdom Hearts of fighting games with characters fighting in worlds that are not their own.
In Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax players attack, guard, and take damage in order to build their Climax Meter, allowing them to execute moves which recreate highlight scenes from the original novels, even adding specially arranged animations for characters who do not fight in the original works. The game will also come included with a bonus music CD featuring songs from composers responsible for classic Sega titles like Shinobi and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax releases October 6th on both PS3 and Vita with the price coming in at $39.99 and $29.99 respectively.
