Here’s the launch trailer for Marvel’s Avengers

Square Enix has released the launch trailer for Marvel’s Avengers. The superhero action-adventure game will be out very soon, next week on September 4th for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Check it out below!

After years of anticipation, we are finally at the cusp of what is arguably going to be the biggest superhero game of the generation. Yes, the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man is a gargantuan success but it only featured one superhero, and yes, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order for the Nintendo Switch has more characters.

But unlike the two titles mentioned above, Marvel’s Avengers from Square Enix is a multi-platform game and has hence the chance of becoming the definitive superhero game of the generation. Well, that’s not entirely true since the Switch isn’t getting the game.

And with early impressions being rather ho-hum, Crystal Dynamics will have to deliver a hell of a final product to surpass the outstanding Spider-Man.

Nonetheless, it’s not often that gamers get a big superhero game that features lots of playable characters and delivers top-notch AAA production quality! As such, Marvel’s Avengers is a big deal.

There’s no question Crystal Dynamics will support, improve, and enhance the game going forward. It has all the hallmarks of a service-type game after all. And the material itself lends itself for meaningful future content drops.

We already know that everybody’s favorite moody bowman Hawkeye will enter the fray after the game’s launch for free and will bring with him more story content. If one considers the immense breadth of hero and villain characters under the Marvel umbrella, Marvel’s Avengers could very well become a mainstay for the foreseeable future.
