Here’s the Launch Trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2

Ubisoft’s second take on an open-world third-person shooter service game The Division 2 is coming out next week. As such, we got the launch trailer for it now. Check it out!

In the midst of big publishers seemingly doomed to constantly mess up in releasing online-heavy service-type games, it’s Ubisoft who quietly looks to have mastered the art to a tee. The first Division was notably one of the earlier games-as-a-service products which not only launched well but proved to gamers that serious post-launch support can be done in a meaningful and enriching way and The Division 2 will no doubt follow that trend.

For The Division, the stakes are higher than ever. Washington, D.C. – the most heavily protected city on earth – is at risk, leaving the entire nation on the brink of collapse. If Washington, D.C., is lost, then the nation falls. As a Division agent who has been in the field for seven months, you and your team are the last hope to stop the fall of society after the pandemic collapse.

Things have changed a lot since 2016 however and gamers have grown more and more pessimistic towards big publishers and their capabilities to produce good games in the new genre. Bethesda failed spectacularly with Fallout 76 and most recently Electronic Arts has a hard time juggling with the more-than-just rough launch of Anthem.

The Division 2 however has something all those other games don’t. A great track record and the trust of the gamers. Whether it’s The Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rainbow Six Siege or even the newer Assassin’s Creed titles. Gamers know they can expect good games from Ubisoft. Even more, the recent betas for The Division 2 were successful in further bolstering that trust and convinced gamers that the game is worth both their time and hard-earned money.

The Division 2 is launching March 15th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
