Heroes of Newerth hacker threatens League of Legends

As most players probably know by now, Heroes of Newerth suffered a hack yesterday, resulting in user passwords potentially becoming exposed. Developer S2 Games responded to the situation promptly, resetting all passwords and urging players to do the same for any and all accounts that may share similar details with HoN.

Worst of all, it's not over yet. The hacker conducted a Reddit AMA revealing plans to once again hack HoN's servers again on Christmas Day. More terrifying is the actual thought process this hacker possesses.

“I hacked HoN because there’s nothing as hilarious as seeing a bunch of fanboys of a game get enraged over the fact that their favourite game has been hacked."

“The vulnerability in their systems was just pathetic, I am surprised nobody else has hacked HoN before. And I still have a plenty of vulnerabilities left and will hack HoN again on the 25th of december (Merry f**king christmas s2)."

The hacker then threatened another popular MOBA, League of Legends.

"I guess I'll do LoL next as this was so funny," the hacker warned. I think the truly terrifying thing here is just how unstable this person appears to be. Why does bringing grief to others make him/her feel so much better about himself/herself?

Just a week after a mentally unstable man assaulted an elementary school in Connecticut, you have someone like this who clearly shows not everything is stable upstairs. Not to compare apples to apples as loss of life is not in any way comparable to a game being hacked, but it just goes to show you that mental illness is a serious topic that shouldn't be taken lightly. I can't say for certain this person suffers from mental illness, but who in their right mind talks like that?

This hacker clearly has some internal problems going on. Why else would this person take such joy in hacking? I think this line sums it up best.

“Whatever you say, I’m not the one who is vexed over their information getting compromised. I am the one laughing, hence my life is better than yours.”

I'm going to bet that this person's life is actually pretty terrible and he/she does this as a way to feel better about themselves. Clearly this is a call for help. It's unfortunate that players' accounts were hacked, but I think we need to get down to the root of the problem. I advise you all to take precautions with your account, but let's seriously look at the deeper issue at hand here.
