Heroes of the Storm’s King Leoric abilities and gameplay shown off in new video

With the new Eternal Conflict update for Heroes of the Storm comes a new playable charater — King Leoric.

Available soon in Blizzard's hot, new MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena), the Skeleton King — whom many of you probably recognize from Diablo — looks to haunt the battlefield with his ghost. Accompanying his release today is a brand new Spotlight highlighting his abilities that include Skeletal Swing, Drain Hope, and Wraith Walk.

First teased back at E3 during the PC Gaming Show, King Leoric has a unique trait that when he dies he turns into a Wrath that stays on the battlefield for the duration of his death. While he can't deal damage to enemy heroes, he can still attack and slow players. Plus, any damage he would've dealt actually lowers his death timer, meaning he can return to the battlefield sooner. And what's more, when he does return to the battlefield, he spawns exactly where his Wraith form was left standing.
