Hey! Pikmin Gets a Demo on eShop in Europe and Hopefully US

Hey! Pikmin, the upcoming 3DS game from the Pikmin franchise has had some cautious reactions from fans. Pikmin is a beloved series for a niche group of Nintendo fans, but those who play it tend to be huge fans. Hey! Pikmin shakes up the formula with a side-scrolling adventure. There are understandably many who fans that are reserving their excitement, but now there's a demo of the game on the 3DS eShop.

Today, Nintendo uploaded the small demo for Hey! Pikmin on the European eShop (Via Neogaf). So European fans can get a taste of what the game will have to offer next month. Hopefully, the demo will come to the US  eShop soon as well. But as always, Nintendo hasn't clarified this or made an announcement.

Considering the caution fans are treating this game with, a demo could really help its sales as a spin-off to an otherwise loved series.

Also new to the eShop today is Miitopia, Ever Oasis and Dr. Kawashima's Diabolical Brain Training.

For Pikmin fans waiting for another main series sequel, Pikmin 4 is apparently still in the works. As for Hey! Pikmin, the full game will launch July 28.
