Hey PS4, SingStar just met you. And this is crazy. No mic needed, just your smartphone baby

You see the smiles on the faces of the people in this video? That's the smile of PS4 hipsters singing to their heart's content.

If you can't manage to make it past this unbearably painful video — or if you don't want Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe stuck in your head for weeks — then let me explain: Sony has announced that SingStar is coming to the PS4. What's more, you don't even need a microphone.

Using the free SingStar app, which will work for both PS3 and PS4, you can turn your smartphone into your very own microphone and sing your favorite songs to your little heart's desire. The app also functions as a way to mix up your personal playlist and queue up the latest hits.

This is crazy.

Also, later this year, Sony will be releasing SingStar: Ultimate Party on PS3 and PS4. It will host 30 new tracks which have yet to be revealed. I can't wait to see what songs I can massacre. They better have Let It Go. Just sayin'.
