Hi-Rez, creators of SMITE hint at new PC/console game

Earlier this month SMITE, the god-battle game from Hi-Rez, entered beta on the Xbox One. Hitting their stride, the team also announced a soon to be released voice pack featuring Saturday Morning Action Hour hero, Kevin Sorbo, reprising the voice of Hercules.

Yesterday, the COO of Hi-Rez, Todd Harris announced via his Twitter that the team was prepping to showcase a new project at Microsoft’s briefing for gamescom next month, though he cautioned it wasn’t the anticipated Tribes: Ascend 2, stating that the world (and Hi-Rez) simply wasn't ready for such a thing to exist.
