Hilariously depressing Back to the Future cartoon more accurately depicts the sad state of 2015

In 1989, director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale gave us their best vision of the future when Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) traveled to October 21, 2015 in Back to the Future: Part II. It was a promising future, filled with flying cars, hoverboards, food hydrators and plenty more excitement.

Flash forward to tomorrow, October 21, 2015, in real life, and that bright future doesn't exist. No flying cars. No hoverboards. Instead of sweet self-lacing shoes we have crocs. The Cubs haven't, and likely won't, win the World Series. And yes, f*cking "Vine stars" do exist.

Yup, the 2015 we live in today is so much more depressing.

We've seen plenty of videos and lists comparing what Back to the Future: Part II got right and wrong about 2015, but nothing beats this animated cartoon short from CollegeHumor.
