Fans of historical games have another epic Tactical RPG on their hands with Expeditions: Viking, which has officially gone gold according to developer Logic Artists. The game follows in the footsteps of Expeditions: Conquistador, which released back in May of 2013, which will be getting a free weekend starting tomorrow at 10 AM PDT.
The studio also released a brief teaser which you can check out here.
Logic Artists Producer Ali Emek said:
"After two years of development, we are on track toward our studio’s best release so far. Expeditions: Viking is now feature complete and we’ll be spending the last month of development tightening the screws and polishing the release build, improving on our performance capabilities, and (with the assistance of a large community of closed beta testers) squashing the remaining bugs."
Expeditions: Viking releases next week on April 27th, 2017, and if you choose to pick up the Deluxe Edition, it comes with a digital artbook, the original soundtrack by composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen (Age of Conan, Lords of the Fallen), as well as the game's Blood-Ice DLC.
