Hitman 3 gets new gameplay video and details

We’re just a little over a month away from IO Interactive’s Hitman 3, the mother of all Hitman games. The team has released new details about the highly-anticipated sequel as well as a brand-new gameplay trailer to start the hype train.

If you’re not already aware, Hitman 3 will put all Hitman games in one. Every level from the last two games is available in 3, creating a central Hitman game. One to rule them all! All of these levels will benefit from a variety of enhancements new to Hitman 3, including PSVR. Every level from the trilogy will be playable in PSVR at launch, giving you a whole new way to experience levels you may have mastered. The PSVR version will only be available within the PS4 version of the game BUT a digital voucher for the PS4 version will come bundled with the PS5 copy, ensuring you can do PSVR via backward compatibility.

Both PS5 and Xbox Series X, Hitman 3 will benefit in many ways. The game will support a glossy 4K60FPS experience with HDR, refined AI, animations, and enhanced crowd sizes. If you thought it was hard to assassinate a target before, Hitman 3 will feature up to 300 NPCs in one location on next-gen.

One PS5 exclusive feature in Hitman 3 revolves around the DualSense controller. The game will make use of the controller’s adaptive triggers, allowing you to feel distinct vibrations for specific weapons. You’ll also feel resistance in the triggers for particular gameplay systems as well. If you’ve played Black Ops Cold War, you’ll have an idea of what this will feel like already.

Hitman 3 will release on January 20th, 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC. The game will also be on Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming.
