Hitman ‘Elusive Targets’ delayed; Two new ‘Escalation Contracts’ added

I guess that makes up for the delay?

While IO Interactive plans to release all Hitman episodes by the end of Summer, they have unfortunately delayed the release of planned Elusive Targets content. According to the Hitman Blog the  Elusive Targets content will be released closer to the release date of the game's second episode 'Sapienza.'

In light of the delayed content, IO Interactive will release two Escalation Contracts each week until Sapienza releases, starting today. Two new Escalation Contracts were added to the game and can be found under  'Escalations' in the Contracts Menu: Osterman Mosiac and Gemini Fiasco.

  • Osterman Mosaic tasks you with a variety of different objectives. You'll be using the sabre to eliminate one of your targets quickly hide bodies, avoid some extreme security measures and take down an additional target. All of which must be done "fairly quickly."
  • Gemini Fiasco includes fan-favorite Helmut Kruger in this Escalation, which has a variety of different objectives and complications that will consistently force you to figure out a new approach. You'll need poison and good knowledge of where security cameras.

Escalation Missions take an objective and something new at every stage of the mission. It could be a time limit, additional security measures, additional targets, new enforcers, specific kill conditions or complications such as hiding all bodies within 90 seconds.

Hitman's Episode 2 'Sapienza' should have release next week.
