Earlier this month Square Enix detailed the Collector's Edition for Hitman, and now the developers are shedding some light on the upcoming beta. Later this week PlayStation 4 and PC players will have the opportunity to experience "The Prologue" of the entirely episodic game.
Unfortunately, the beta is only available to those that pre-purchased a digital version of the game. Those that pre-ordered the physical version of the game aren't the only ones left out of the beta, Xbox One owners will not have access to the beta either.
Set in a secret ICA training facility, "The Prologue" will allow PS4 and PC players to do two training hits while experiencing Agent 47's introduction to the ICA and "very first meeting with his future handler Diana Burnwood."
The PS4 beta is set to begin at 11 AM EST (8 AM PST) on February 12th and end February 15th at 11 AM EST (8 AM PST) PST. PC players can look forward to the beta is scheduled to begin at 5 AM EST (2 AM PST) on February 19th 2016 and end February 22nd at 5 AM EST (2 AM PST).
PlayStation 4 players can look forward to a 4.7GB file size for the beta. The beta will not feature Contracts Mode and yes, you will need an internet connect.
The first episode of Hitman is set to release on March 11th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
