Hitman: Sniper Assassin Competition brings your Face in the Game

Warner Bros. Games is starting a new competition in Hitman: Sniper Assassin, the pre-order bonus mini-game of Hitman 2. Players across PC, PS4 and Xbox One who score the highest scores in the competition will get an in-game character with their name and likeness. Check out the trailer!

Pre-order boni are widespread in the gaming industry. From cosmetic in-game items, to early game access, publishers try all kinds of methods to entice users to pay in advance. As such, Warner Bros. Games also added a pre-order incentive when the publisher unveiled Hitman 2 at E3 this June. Users who pre-order Hitman get instant access to Hitman: Sniper Assassin. Much more than usual pre-order rewards, this is a full game on its own right. A Co-Op mini-game of sorts, giving early buyers the chance to play a highscore-oriented sniping level.

The top scoring, with top scoring Agents across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam each eligible to win the grand prize of getting their name and likeness added to the game in future HITMAN™ 2 content. Starting today, players can participate by pre-ordering HITMAN™ 2 and downloading the new standalone Sniper Assassin mode, which is a free early access bonus that is available to play now.

A very uncommon and extensive reward but the developers IO Interactive are far from resting on their laurels. In a new trailer released today, the developers are starting off a competition among the player community of Sniper Assassin. Taking place across all three platform, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, player will get the opportunity of a lifetime to become immortilized in the upcoming Hitman 2. The players of each platform, performing the highest score in the Sniper Assassin competition will have an in-game character get named after him-/herself and even his likeness modelled. How awesome is that?!

Of course, to participate, you will have to pre-order Hitman 2 on the platform of your choice and score the highest points. Interested player who are confident in their sniping skills need to register for an IOI account and can start raking up the scores.

Hitman 2 is releasing this November 13th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
