Last Friday, IO Interactive released the first episode of the episodic Hitman game. Most people enjoyed the game, but were fairly concerned that each episode wouldn't have enough content to tide people over.
Today, a new update was released for Hitman that gives you two new Escalation missions. These 'Escalation missions' are hit contracts that give you a basic challenge, and each time you complete on, a new harder challenge is added to complete, on top of the previous one.
The first Escalation mission is title "The Holmwood Disturbance" and requires you to assassinate Faustin D’Aoust with a firearm while dressed as a vampire magician. Yeah, a vampire magician. The second Escalation mission is "The Mandelbulb Requiem”, you must kill Michel Charest in a palace staff disguise.
IO Interactive plans to release these mission updates weekly and hopes to release all Hitman episodes by the end of Summer. If you pre-ordered Hitman for the PS4, it should be noted that the latest patch has removed the pre-order bonus content. IO Interactive is currently investigating this.
Hitman is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
