    EIDOS has reported that the
    official patch for     Hitman 2: Silent
    Assassin     is ready to be released to the
    world! Below find the list of fixes and tweaks that gamers can expect from
    this bit of patching goodness…

    This patch updates the English
    release of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin to version 1.01.  To update your game
    just download this file and double-click it. When prompted, press Y to
    continue.

    • Console enabled (so people can
      use cheats). Press the "tilde" key.

    • Securerom update

    • Better CD/DVD drive support

    • Fixed bug with bump mapping and
      DXTC defaulting to off every time game starts

    • Improves some of the graphical
      effects used in the game
