Homefront: The Revolution’s frame rate is the primary focus the Developers have on patching the game

Homefront: The Revolution has had a troubled development. Troubled developments rarely every result in a great release, and this game has proven to be no exception. While there are great ideas at work, it's tough to ignore the plethora of technical issues that plague this game. One of the most notable issues is the game's frame rate.

In a post on the game's official forum, community manager Craig Turner acknowledged the issue and said that the Development team is hard at work trying to fix it.

"But we're also aware that performance – particularly frame rate – is not currently where we want it to be, and we are working on additional patches to help address these issues and more. Patch notes per platform will be available on the community forums and on Steam when they go live."

There is no current timeline for when we can expect this frame rate fix to roll out, but in the meantime, the developers are going ahead with their plans of free post launch DLC, beginning with new Punk and Anarchist outfits.

Homefront: The Revolution's issues have been common knowledge since the beta, so while it's unfortunate to see, it's not all that surprising. We weren't terribly fond of the game in our official review, and final scores around the web have been mixed to say the least.
