PAX South has come and go, with it came announcements for a potential Borderlands 3, The Bard's Tale IV and more. In its wake we are left with videos and even more details on video game announcements.
In just about a month we will be seeing the release of the Homeworld Remastered Collection from Gearbox Software, who acquired the IP in 2014.
The Homeworld Remastered Collection will bring together the original Homeworld and Homeworld 2 into a remastered package. The collection won't simply supply you with remastered copies of the original game though, the untouched originals will also be included. It will be hitting the PC on February 25, 2015 for $34.99, if you pre-order it you get it at a 15% discount ($29.74) through Steam.
What else is in Homeworld Remastered Collection? Here's a concise overview:

- High-res textures and models

If you purchase Homeworld Remastered Collection you will have access to the Homeworld Remastered Steam multiplayer beta (available when the game launches. The multiplayer beta will give players access to races, maps and game modes from both games, integrated into one.
