Horizon: Forbidden West announced for PlayStation 5

Alloy returns.

Back in 2017, Guerilla Games made the leap from FPS series Killzone to an open-world third-person action game. Horizon: Zero Dawn made huge waves for its incredibly unique and interesting world which blends prehistoric times with the future. The PlayStation 4 exclusive almost instantly spawned a key franchise for Sony with protagonist Alloy now being a company icon.

A PC port is on the way of the first game but Sony knows that the IP is valuable and has announced a sequel. Horizon: Forbidden Wests continues Alloy’s journey into the land conquered by machines and other new threats. The world looks gorgeous as nature and animals contrast the machines stomping around the environments.

You can take a look at the new trailer and the official description below.

“Horizon Forbidden West continues Aloy’s story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.”

Horizon: Forbidden Wests will come to PlayStation 5 in the future. No release date has been given.
