Horizon Zero Dawn for PC could launch soon according to new data leak

Soonâ„¢

Hot of the heels of the announcement of the impressive next-gen PlayStation 5 sequel Horizon: Forbidden West, PC players might soon be able to get their hands on the original Horizon Zero Dawn. This comes after new updates to the game’s Steam port’s database update.

When Sony originally announced their plans to bring one of the most high-profile PlayStation 4 exclusives to the PC earlier this Spring, many a console fanboy seemingly lost their minds over the illusion of losing one of their fictional horses in the console war. Of course, that’s a silly attitude to have and if you truly love something, you’d be happy if more people can enjoy it.

We already knew that the PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn was slated for a release sometime this summer but both Sony and Guerilla Games remained very silent with more details. A new finding by Twitter user Morwull is suggesting that Sony might be planning a stealth surprise launch very soon.

And update to the Steam database shows that the End User License Agreement – or short EULA – has been uploaded for the game. And since the Steam database is an official extension of the backbone of Steam, signs are pointing towards things advancing.

Of course, this is far from official confirmation that Horizon Zero Dawn will indeed launch soon but the timing sure is peculiar. The annual Steam summer sale is currently going underway and it’s uncommon to launch a high-profile game during a sale. Users are on the hunt for high discounts during this time and a hypothetical release could possibly lead to the game being buried in the sale craze.

What’s much more sensible is that right or close after the sale Horizon Zero Dawn could launch. Work behind the screens done on the Steam database surely hints that something is happening.
