During E3 2017, Guerrilla Games revealed a new expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn, titled The Frozen Wilds. At the time of the reveal, no release date for the expansion was given, but a new trailer has revealed that the DLC will be out on November 7th, 2017.
No further details on the expansion have been released, however, we do know that The Frozen Wilds will bring "a new area to explore, new mysteries to uncover and new, highly lethal machines to take on."
What's interesting about this upcoming DLC is that Conan Exiles will also be seeing an icy expansion, The Frozen North. All of this is happening at the same time winter is hitting Westeros in Game of Thrones. Is the new trend going to be frozen worlds?
