Horror game The Forest creeps onto Steam Early Access this May

Soon you can explore the open world of The Forest on your PC — if you're brave enough.

Endnight Games announced that it will launch the horror game on Steam Early Access on May 22 for $15. That means the game is not quite finished, but players can take part in shaping the final version.

The Forest will also support the Oculus Rift head-mounted display, which was just purchased by Facebook.

Players can explore the forest by day and night and investigate caves and underground lakes. To survive, they'll have to scavenge, build shelter, and defend themselves from strange creatures. And it looks weird — really weird.
