Hotel Dusk, Last Window director working on new 3DS detective game

Director Taisuke Kanasaki, the man behind Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Last Window: The Secret of Cape and Another Code: Two Memories, has unveiled his next project, a 3DS detective game by the name of Chase: Unsolved Cases Investigation Division.

Several members of now-defunct studio CING will be working with Kanasaki on Chase, according to Gematsu. Working from the game’s Japanese teaser site, Gematsu reports that Chase “promises a deep and dramatic detective story with dynamic images that make the best use of adult-enjoyable, good old hard-boiled adventure.”

Chase is slated to release in Japan via the Nintendo eShop sometime this spring. An English localization has not yet been confirmed, but remains likely given CING’s localization history.
