Hotline Miami 2 publisher giving away free PS4

Devolver Digital, publisher of Hotline Miami, has announced a contest in which you can win a free PlayStation 4 by simply telling them why you deserve one this holiday season. It's seriously that simple.

“My first thought was to either sell it online for a tidy profit or set it on fire in front of some overzealous fanboys but then our PR team said we had to give it away because that’s what baby Jesus would want,” said Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker, who is actually giving away the system he pre-ordered — or so he says.

And because Devolver Digital is also publishing Hotline Miami 2, the winner will also receive a pre-release download for Hotline Miami 2 on PSN when it's ready to go.

To enter the contest you must submit a 30-second video entry via YouTube to Devolver Digital convincing them why you deserve the free PS4. Tweet your YouTube link to @DevolverDigital and make sure you follow them to become eligible. Following them will also allow them to direct message you on Twitter in the event that you win. All entires must be submitted by noon (Austin, Texas time) on December 23.

With the PS4 sold out at many retailers, this contest may be your only way to snag Sony's new console in time for the holidays. Best of all, you don't have to sit on a creepy Santa's lap to get one.

[Thanks, Stephanie!]
