Marvel Heroes Omega is coming to PlayStation 4. It was recently teased that a PS4 closed beta was coming from developer Gazillion Entertainment, and now we know the date.
Friday, April 21, the closed beta will kick off. Those interested in the beta can get a chance to play by buying any of the Founder's Packs which go up for sale on the PlayStation Store or the game's website this Friday. PlayStat ion Plus members playing will also get bonuses, including a free Daredevil costume, in-game currency discounts and more.
Marvel Heroes Omega is the latest addition to Marvel Heroes, and the console version brings most of the content available on the PC version currently.
There is a console exclusive feature allowing local co-op. Considering the similarities to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, this change may be quite welcome. It also comes with some tweaks and control changes and UI adjustments to fit a console experience.
38 heroes will be available at launch. There are 61 currently in the PC version. A slow drip of heroes is planned for the remaining number over the next few months after release.
