There's nothing better than starting your journey through the Andromeda galaxy than getting the best weapon you can early on. It's not quite an exploit, but it could be seen as one, either way, Reddit user n7_stormreaver let us in on the best way to procure an awesome weapon and all it takes is a couple resets.
That's right, just like in Animal Crossing where you reset the game until you got the face or town map you wanted, you can reset Mass Effect: Andromeda to get the perfect weapon.
According to n7_stormreaver, as soon as you reach the hub in the game, head to the area across from the security office. Here, you will find a crate – do not open the crate! Before opening the crate, save the game! After you save the game, open the crate. If you don't like the weapon you received, reset the game, load your last save and try again (there won't be an angry beaver thing yelling at you, so you're fine).
The crate contains a random weapon and there's a good chance you could get a rare weapon. There are reports of this particular save-reset gifting players with Vanquisher SR, N7 Hurricane, Scorpion, Piranha and Krogan Hammer
