Yay! The ongoing HTC and Apple law war has come to an end. Instead of ending in blood, the two companies have decided to drop all current lawsuits and to actually pick up a ten-year license agreement together. How sweet.
It’s good to see two crazy kids coming together like this and open up some potential future plans with one another. The terms of the settlement are confidential but something must have gone right.
“HTC is pleased to have resolved its dispute with Apple, so HTC can focus on innovation instead of litigation,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.
“We are glad to have reached a settlement with HTC,” said Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. “We will continue to stay laser focused on product innovation.”
Here’s to the next decade boys.
