Huge Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice content update let’s you fight bosses, share, and more

Activision has shared that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will soon receive an unexpectedly massive new update on October 29th. Owners of the game will be able to fight defeated bosses to their hearts desires, share their sick moves, and even dress up in different costumes.

It has been almost 1½ years since FromSoftware graced the gaming world with their most unique Soulslike game to date. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice finally not only mixed aspects of the developer’s iconic Souls games with the ever-popular feudal Japan setting. No, it truly elevated it with game-changing mechanics like fast movement and being able to revive after death.

With this update, you will be able to take part in Reflections of Strength; re-matches against any previously defeated boss that can be accessed through any Sculptor’s Idol. These Reflections may help in preparing for Gauntlets of Strength, single-life challenges that will truly test only the bravest warriors… or the most foolish.

Seeing how much time already passed since the game’s original launch, the news today that a massive content update is headed for Sekiro comes as quite a positive surprise. For the first time in Souls history, players will finally be able to fight any boss they already defeated as many times as they want. Perfect tactics and experiment with different approaches. But most of all, there will be finally payback for bosses that cost you so many tries.

There’s more to the update though. Players will finally be able to change the look of the Wolf with three outfits. Last but certainly not least, all these new additions are begging to be shared with your friends and the world. With the addition of Remnants, players will be able to record up to 30 seconds of their epic wins or fails for other gamers to enjoy in-game.

Best of all, these all will be available as a free update for owners of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on October 29th.
