Huge tournaments planned for Street Fighter’s 25th anniversary

Revealed via the Capcom-Unity website, Capcom has detailed some of their plans for Street Fighter's 25th anniversery! They plan to have a series of tournaments in not only new games, such as Super Street Figher 4 Arcade Edition 2012 (..yikes, that's a mouthful) and Street Figher x Tekken, but in games from the series past. The prize pools from these tournaments has been unveiled as $500,000! What a huge payout for fighting games. Better get practicing, folks, the competition is sure to be fierce.

Seth Killian had this to say on the subject via Twitter: "Yes, Capcom going big on tournaments. For insight as to which games, remember that 2012 is the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter :) ."
