A new Humble Bundle, named the Humble Freedom Bundle, features $600 worth of games and books available for just $30.
Unlike previous bundles where you have the option to tip Humble, this bundle will send 100% of your payment to the American Civil Liberties Union, the International Rescue Committee, and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) – although you do have the luxury to choose which charity receives the donation.
Once the Humble Freedom Bundle pulls in $300,000, Humble will match the contributions up to $300,000. As of writing this, nearly $400,000 worth of payments has been made, meaning that Humble will be donating $300,000 to the charities.
The games will be redeemable via Steam, all of which are compatible on Steam, while some are available on Mac and Linux. A number of the games are DRM-free as well. As far as the books go, they will be available in PDF, ePUB, and MOBI formats, which means they are compatible with almost every device. The audiobooks are available in MP3 and FLAC format, which pretty much means the same thing.
The Humble Freedom Bundle ends on February 20th.
