Hyperdimension Neptunia game being developed for PS Vita

A new Hyperdimension Neptunia game is currently in development, and it's set for a Vita launch. The game, titled Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP (heh) will be available in Japan on June 20. Given NIS America's tendency to localize this franchise in North America, it's likely that Vita owners on this side of the globe will get the opportunity to play the game, too.

Neptunia PP will be available in both standard and limited editions in Japan. While I highly doubt we'll get a limited edition version over here, I think it's safe to say Vita owners can look forward to this JRPG being available in the west in the not-too-distant future.

The current game in the series, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, is due out on the PlayStation 3 in North America next week.
