Hyperdimension Neptunia Gets Cuter

NIS America’s upcoming Compile Heart moe-fest, Hyperdimension Neptunia, will be arriving on domestic game store shelves sometime in January/February but that hasn’t stopped the DLC-train from releasing new content on a consistent basis in Japan.

With pay-to-play downloadable quests and item packs already on the market, Compile Heart has added two new companies represented by antromorphic characters to the already star-studded lineup. Enter 5pb-chan and Red-chan. 5-pb chan is from the company whose games includes Chaos;Head Noah, Phantom Breaker and the Phantom of Inferno. Red is the company behind the Sakura Wars franchise, and most recently the Record of Agarest Wars.

Although the scheduled date for the characters has not been announced yet, Compile Heart says that it may take some time as they are developing entirely new scenarios for these characters so that they won’t just be making cameo appearances. It remains to be seen on whether or not NIS America will be including any of the DLC in their Western release.
