Hyrule Warriors 3DS is real and will include characters from the Wind Waker

Well this was quite a surprising leak. The extremely fun Hyrule Warriors that was released last year will now be making its handheld debut on the 3DS.

The leaked trailer comes from an unlisted video on Tecmo Koei's YouTube channel which not only shows the game in action, but also shows off exclusive characters to the handheld.

Tetra and the King of Red Lions from Wind Waker will make their debut on the 3DS version. At the end of the trailer, it also looks like those who buy the 3DS version will be able to transfer those characters to the Wii U version. Pretty awesome!

Of course this trailer is for the Japanese version so no word on whether the game will actually make its way to the US. Fingers crossed!
