Hyrule Warriors Legends gets official release date and world premiere gameplay

Hyrule Warriors Legends, the 3DS exclusive, has received an official launch date in Japan at the Tokyo Game Show this week along with some world premiere gameplay.

The 3DS version will feature the same enemy count as the Wii U, which alone is an incredible task for the portable system, only you won't be able to see as many on screen at once due to the size difference. Content from The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker on Gamecube has been added and the flow of the gameplay appears seamless. Hyrule Warriors Legends will make use of the New 3DS' C-stick in order to lock onto enemies and control the camera similar to how Ocarina of Time funtioned.

With no official release date yet for the west, it was announced that Hyrule Warriors Legends will release in Japan on January 21st, 2016. Remember, in addition to the new content added, the 3DS version will also feature all of the Wii U DLC as well. You can see the gameplay from TGS 2015 compliments of Nintendo Everything below.
