Master Quest Pack, the first of four planned DLC packs for Hyrule Warriors, is out today and available for download on Wii U.
Priced at $7.99, the Master Quest Pack adds four noteworthy features, including the ability to ride Epona into battle when you play as Link. Also included in the DLC are five story episodes "that lead to the cataclysmic events in the main game," the Master Quest Adventure Mode map, and new Guardian of Time costumes for Cia and Lana.
Looking ahead, there are still three more DLC packs planned for Hyrule Warriors: the Twilight Princess Pack (November 2014), Majora's Mask Pack (January 2015), and the Boss Pack (February 2015), all of which are detailed here. Should you decide you want to purchase all four DLC packs, just go ahead and purchase teh Hero of Hyrule Pack, a fancy name for what is essentially a Hyrule Warriors season pass for $19.99. It comes with a bonus in-game Dark Link costume.
Hyrule Warriors, a clever mash-up of The Legend of Zelda franchise with Dynasty Warriors gameplay, was met with great enthusiasm when it released, as evidenced by GameZone's score of 9/10. Check out our full review here.
