Nintendo's 2013 is shaping up to be excellent. Through Spring, some highly anticipated games are releasing on the Wii U and 3DS — the most notable being LEGO City: Undercover, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
LEGO City: Undercover releases March 18 and puts you in the role of Chase McCain, a police officer and master of disguise. In pursuit of criminal mastermind Rex Fury, you explore a massive, open-world of LEGO City with tons of vehicles from real-life play sets. It's also the first LEGO game not based on a movie license. If you're looking for a 3DS version of this game, there is a prequel to the Wii U game called LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It arrives on the 3DS on April 21 and will follow the exploits of Chase McCain as a rookie cop.
The day after LEGO City: Undercover releases, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate releases on March 19 for the Wii U alongside a 3DS version. With more than 200 quests, the action RPG features more monsters and equipment crafting that fans of the series love.
Not to be forgotten, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will release on the 3DS on March 24. The game sees Luigi travel through more mansions to capture more ghosts, because that's what Luigi does.
