Ibb and Obb due out this year

If you told me you had never heard of Ibb and Obb before, I wouldn't blame you. The game was last showcased at IndieCade, all the way back in the year 2008. That's, like, a year before the first Borderlands launched. But that's besides the point. The important thing is that Ibb and Obb is alive and kickin'!

Developer Sparpweed released a trailer for the game on its official page. All I have to say is I'm pretty impressed. But then I have more stuff to say, like, "Watch the trailer!" and "Damn, this game looks awesome!"

Visually, Ibb and Obb is heavy on the color and super charming, which are all good things unless you hate prettiness. The game is a cooperative platformer where two players must play through environments that have them flipping above and beneath a path as they work together to progress through stages. Levels appear to have a distinct puzzle-like design, so it's very possible that this one will be a toughie.

Ibb and Obb is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation Network sometime during the second quarter of 2012. A PC version is also in the works, though gamers can expect that one to arrive "some months later." Ibb and Obb, we'll be waiting patiently. That said, hurry up and launch, because you look awesome!
