Following the successful completion of Star Wars Battlefront’s third community mission, a free Princess Leia costume was introduced alongside the game’s major February update.
The “Lead the Rebellion” community mission charged players with playing as Leia for 102,187 hours, an oddly specific target that the community outstripped by over 3,000 hours.
“This marks the third straight challenge that the community has bested,” DICE said in a blog post, “unlocking everything from new outfits to double XP weekends.”
The new Leia Endor skin was unlocked for all players with the arrival of the mammoth update, which touched on everything from weapon balancing to matchmaking logistics to Hero changes.
More recently, DICE teased the addition of two Star Wars dark horses: rebel pilot Nien Nunb and bounty hunter Greedo.
