If Meat Boy makes it into Super Smash Bros. Team Meat might bring a game to Nintendo Console

Make it happen.

Back in 2010 we saw our hope for Super Meat Boy hitting the Wii get thrown off of a cliff and fade into the depths of "never happening" (Super Meat Boy Wii is sitting right next to The Last Guardian). Three years after Super Meat Boy's journey to the Wii was cancelled, Team Meat announced that they would attempt a journey back onto Nintendo consoles with one caveat.

Bring Meat Boy to Smash Bros.

Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes sat down with Eurogamer in 2013 and revealed their ultimatum, bring Meat Boy to Smash Bros. and they would develope for a Nintendo console:

McMillen: I want Meat Boy to be in Smash Bros. That would be the one reason I'd really want to develop for a Nintendo console.

Refenes: That would be amazing! If they could guarantee us Meat Boy would be in Smash Bros., we would do something.

McMillen: Nintendo are you listening? Smash Bros! We would ask for nothing in return. Just f***ing use the character. Put him in the game. It's free!

Now that Nintendo is allowing people to vote for what characters they want in Super Smash Bros., this could happen:

So yeah, if you get Meat Boy in…The Wii U or New 3DS might see a Team Meat game.
