If you play Rise of the Tomb Raider next week, you’ll get 100,000 in-game currency

To celebrate the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PS4 next week, developer Crystal Dynamics will be giving out 100K in-game currency to those who play the game from October 11th to October 18th at 11:59 PM PT.

To be clear, this isn't exclusively for PS4 players, this will work on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC as well. They can use the currency to purchase packs that allow them to unlock modifiers for some of the extra challenge modes in the game. The modifiers range from things like special guns, health perks, all the way to things like a new outfit or big head mode that turns characters into a living bobble head. You can view the list of purchasable card packs below to see how much value you'll be getting out of the free currency.

  • Bronze Pack – 5,000 credits: Five random cards
  • Silver Pack – 20,000 credits: Five random cards, one is guaranteed to be uncommon
  • Gold Pack – 60,000 credits: Five random cards, one is guaranteed to be rare
  • Advantage Pack – 20,000 credits: Five random cards with advantageous benefits
  • Challenge Pack – 20,000 credits: Five random cards that make the game more challenging
  • Wild Pack – 20,000 credits: Awards five cards chosen at random from the strangest cards in the collection

Rise of the Tomb Raider's PS4 version will release next week on October 13th and will include all previous DLC, a mode where you can explore Croft Manor in PSVR, and much more.
