If you’re into listening to a historian talk about pirate weapons as much as I do, check out this Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag promo

Mike Loades is a weapons historian. This means that he is a man that knows his s@#$ about weapons – particularly pirate weaponry. So when Ubisoft invited him to talk about the accuracies in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, he eagerly obliged. To his surprise, Ubi was on top of their game. “They wanted to get their history right, they wanted to set this game in a authentic historical world.”

Also, according to Lades, “you need a range of weapons” to be a full on pirate. I’m pretty sure Edward Kenway has the skills and the gear to get the job done. Not convinced or just want to watch the video, move those eyes of yours below:
