Image of alleged Ryse sequel, The Empire, leaks online

It appears that we may be getting a sequel for Ryse: Son of Rome if a new image floating around is to be believed.

Titled Ryse: The Empire, it is an off-screen image that was taken during a conference somewhere. The image first appeared on Twitter and picked up steam from there. Ryse: Son of Rome was a launch of title for Xbox One back on November 22nd, 2013 and got mixed reviews. The story and graphics were captivating, with the graphics still some of the most beautiful this generation. Some users had an issue with the gameplay and its QTE style mechanics in battle.

A Ryse sequel was originally planned but scrapped before Crytek's financial troubles seeing it bailed out by Deep Silver. This image may or not be real, but there was work previously planned for a sequel and hopefully we get to see one soon.

What do you think of the image and would you like a sequel? Let us know below.

Are you not entertained?!
