Incoming H1Z1 patch tones down availability of guns and ammo

Perhaps proof that everything at Daybreak Game Company (formerly Sony Online Entertainment) is business as usual, the developer plans to roll out a new patch for H1Z1 later today.

While we don't have official patch notes today, company president John Smedley gave us a brief overview of the patch tweaks on Twitter. The biggest focus seems to be on nerfing the amount of available weapons in the game.

Honestly, I'm okay with this. Simply put, guns in games like this annoy me. They cheapen the experience in my opinion.

SOE announced the sale and name change to Daybreak Game Company earlier today. Despite the sale, the developer/publisher maintains that everything will be "business as usual" and that all SOE games will "continue on their current patch of development and operation."
