Indie arcade title escapeVektor heads to 3DS on Dec. 20, PS Vita later

Developer Nnooo (It's always so much fun saying that!) has announced that its digital arcade title escapeVektor will be available on the 3DS eShop for $9.99 on December 20. A Vita version is also due out on the PlayStation Network, though a North American release date has yet to be confirmed.

Originally conceived as a four-part series, escapeVektor has been rolled up into one complete title for handheld devices. The game launched on WiiWare as escapeVektor: Chapter 1, and it was quite enjoyable. Now that it's headed to the eShop and PlayStation Network, I'm looking forward to checking it out.

The 3DS version of the game will feature stereoscopic visuals, meanwhile the Vita edition will take advantage of the system's gyroscopic capabilities. Though I had fun playing escapeVektor on WiiWare, the series certainly seems suited for portables.

If you're looking for a fun arcade action game, I'd say keep an eye out for this one.
